Samsung Health to Apple Health

Move the health history you choose.

HealthTransfer is an iPhone app for reviewing a supported Samsung Health export and adding compatible records to Apple Health. It is a one-time transfer, not a live background sync between Samsung and Apple devices.

How the transfer works

  1. Download your own Samsung data. Request an export through a supported Samsung export path and save the downloaded files where your iPhone can access them.
  2. Open the export in HealthTransfer. The app reads the selected files locally and reports the record types and date coverage it finds.
  3. Choose what to move. Review the available health parameters instead of importing everything blindly.
  4. Approve Apple Health access. Apple presents its permission controls. HealthTransfer can write only the categories you allow.
  5. Inspect the result in Apple Health. Compatible records appear with HealthTransfer as their source.

What can be transferred?

Supported exports may include steps, workouts, sleep, heart and breathing measurements, body measurements, nutrition, hydration and other compatible records. Availability depends on the Samsung devices, apps, region and export contents involved.

Does HealthTransfer upload my health data?

No. The current app processes selected export files on the iPhone. It does not send the archive or individual health measurements to a developer-operated health-data server. Apple Health may separately use Apple services according to the settings on the iPhone.
